- 2 large whole chicken breasts, boned and skinned
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 tsp. butter
- 4 tsp. minced green onion
- 3/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Slice chicken into strips
- about
- 3 inches by 1/4 inch. Combine flour, salt and
- pepper in bag.
- Add chicken and shake to coat.
- In skillet, saute chicken in butter over medium heat until golden and tender.
- Remove
- to
- serving
- dish
- and
- keep warm. Add green onions, mushrooms and wine to skillet.
- Cook, stirring until liquid
- disappears.
- Reduce
- heat to low.
- Stir in paprika, sour
- cream
- and
- Worcestershire
- and
- heat
- sauce through.
- Pour over warm chicken.
