- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburger or ground chuck
- 3/4 c. ketchup
- 1 c. extra sharp cheese, grated
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 2 cans kidney beans or pinto beans
- 2 small cans mushrooms
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, diced
- 2 c. brown sugar (not packed)
Method
- Saute onion and green pepper.
- Remove and brown meat.
- Drain. Mix remaining ingredients and bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.
