Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/8 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 c. canned milk
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
Method
- Stir together in a large saucepan the sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, milk and butter.
- Bring to boil on high heat, then turn heat to medium.
- Add 2 squares chocolate.
- When candy is ready (hardens in cold water), remove from heat.
- Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into flat, shallow pan.
- Let cool.
- Cut into squares.
