Ingredients
- Olive Oil, As Needed
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Paprika
- 1 Tablespoon Light Brown Sugar
- 4- 1/2 pounds Boneless Pork Shoulder Roast
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1- 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce
- 8 Sandwich Buns
- Coleslaw, To Serve (optional)
Method
- Drizzle oil in bottom of slow cooker.
- Mix garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika and light brown sugar together in a small bowl.
- Place roast in slow cooker.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and rub with spice blend.
- Cover and cook roast on low for 10 hours.
- Take meat out of slow cooker and discard leftover juice.
- Shred meat and add back to slow cooker.
- Pour in barbecue sauce and cook pork for an additional hour on low.
- Serve the pulled pork on buns with coleslaw if desired.
