Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken (fryer)
- 1/2 cups Lemon Juice, Or More As Needed
- 2 teaspoons Lemon Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
Method
- Using a 4-quart crock pot, I placed the fryer in the crock pot, pouring the lemon juice over it.
- If when cooking it appears to need more liquid, add another 1/2 cup lemon juice.
- I added the lemon pepper to each side of the fryer.
- I followed this by adding the garlic powder and onion powder to each side of the fryer as well.
- I made sure that the fryer was covered with the seasoning.
- If you have a larger fryer you may need to adjust the seasoning amounts.
- This will cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- Serving this with steamed veggies made for the perfect dinner!
