Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken (fryer)
  • 1/2 cups Lemon Juice, Or More As Needed
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder

Method

  • Using a 4-quart crock pot, I placed the fryer in the crock pot, pouring the lemon juice over it.
  • If when cooking it appears to need more liquid, add another 1/2 cup lemon juice.
  • I added the lemon pepper to each side of the fryer.
  • I followed this by adding the garlic powder and onion powder to each side of the fryer as well.
  • I made sure that the fryer was covered with the seasoning.
  • If you have a larger fryer you may need to adjust the seasoning amounts.
  • This will cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  • Serving this with steamed veggies made for the perfect dinner!
