Ingredients

  • 4 lb. ground beef
  • 3 cans tomato sauce
  • catsup
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • chili powder

Method

  • Brown hamburg and onions.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper. (More onion can be added if desired, and 1 pepper could be browned.)
  • After browning slowly pour in saucepan and add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, couple shakes of chili powder and small amount of catsup.
  • Simmer this mixture for 1 1/2 hours, very slowly.
  • Allow 10 sandwiches to 1 pound hamburg.
  • Worcestershire sauce and chili powder can be used according to how much seasoning desired.
