Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1/4 c. celery
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. green pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • Hamburger buns

Method

  • Brown meat in skillet. Add vegetables and cook for 6 minutes, until vegetables are cooked.
  • Then add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot on hamburger buns. Garnish with pickle slices. (Equally as good served over hot cooked noodles, spaghetti or cooked rice.)
