Ingredients
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Put dates, margarine and sugar in skillet.
- Cook over low flame for 5 minutes.
- Stir in beaten egg.
- Allow to cool a few minutes.
- Add Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla.
- When cool enough to handle, roll into balls, then in powdered sugar or flaked coconut.
