Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • pinch of salt
  • cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • sugar

Method

  • Melt butter; blend with sugar.
  • Add eggs one at a time; beat. Add vanilla.
  • Blend in flour and salt.
  • Line 12-inch iron skillet with aluminum foil; grease lightly.
  • Pour 1/2 batter in foil lined skillet; sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar and chopped nuts.
  • Add remaining batter, then sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar and nuts. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
