Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 tsp. salt (or less)
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 oz. noodles, cooked
- 1 c. pitted ripe olives
- 1/2 c. shredded American cheese
- 2 c. milk
Method
- Lightly brown beef, celery and onion in a large frying pan. Pour off drippings.
- Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika and sprinkle over meat and vegetables.
- Gradually add milk and cook slowly 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in cheese, olives and noodles.
- Heat thoroughly.
- Makes 6 large servings.
