Ingredients

  • 1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled (raw)
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 1 loaf Pepperidge Farm white bread

Method

  • Grind first 3 ingredients.
  • Add remaining ingredients except bread.
  • Remove crust from bread.
  • Spread mixture on bread and cut each slice into triangle shape pieces (4 pieces, each slice).
  • Fry in deep hot oil, shrimp side down.
  • Turn over and fry bread side a few more seconds.
  • Drain on paper towel.
