Ingredients
- 1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled (raw)
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. Accent
- 1 loaf Pepperidge Farm white bread
Method
- Grind first 3 ingredients.
- Add remaining ingredients except bread.
- Remove crust from bread.
- Spread mixture on bread and cut each slice into triangle shape pieces (4 pieces, each slice).
- Fry in deep hot oil, shrimp side down.
- Turn over and fry bread side a few more seconds.
- Drain on paper towel.
