Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. raw peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 3 egg whites
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped chives
  • 3 Tbsp. sliced scallions (green onions)
  • 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. heavy or whipping cream (cold)

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • Line an 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan with enough foil to completely cover the top of the loaf.
  • Oil the foil.
  • Place the shrimp in the bowl of a food processor; process until smooth, stopping frequently to scrape the sides of the bowl. Add the egg whites, chives, onions, dill weed, salt and pepper; process until the mixture resembles a thick paste.
  • With the processor running, gradually add the cream.
  • Process for 1 minute.
