Ingredients

  • 1 pound Shrimp, Peeled And Deveined
  • 1/4 cups Onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley Or 2 Sprigs Fresh
  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cups White Wine
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 dashes Salt And Pepper, to taste

Method

  • Melt butter over medium low heat.
  • Saute onion, garlic and parsley in butter until tender.
  • Add shrimp and cook, stirring frequently, about 5 minutes or until shrimp are pink.
  • Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon and keep warm.
  • Add wine and lemon juice to the butter mixture and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour sauce over the shrimp.
  • Serve with prepared white rice.
