Ingredients

  • 1 c. tomato soup
  • 3 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. gelatin
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 3 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onions
  • 2 small cans shrimp
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Soak gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.
  • Heat soup to boiling point.
  • Dissolve cream cheese thoroughly in soup.
  • Add gelatin and cool.
  • Add mayonnaise, celery, onions and seasonings.
  • When it begins to thicken, pour a layer of mixture into oiled mold, follow with a layer of shrimp and continue until used.
  • Chill.
  • When ready to use, unmold with hot water.
  • Serve with crackers.
