Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 18 large shrimp, peeled and cleaned
  • 18 large basil leaves
  • 18 strips Prosciutto
  • Pam

Method

  • In a shallow dish, combine oil, garlic, salt and red pepper. Add shrimp and toss to coat well.
  • Refrigerate covered for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Spray a cookie sheet lightly with Pam.
  • Individually wrap each shrimp in a basil leaf and then in the slice of Prosciutto and secure with a toothpick.
  • Place on cookie sheet and refrigerate up to 4 hours.
  • Bake in 350° preheated oven for about 10 minutes until shrimp are opaque.
  • Serve hot.
