Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 onion (large), diced
  • 1 bell pepper (small), diced
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 can tomatoes (whole)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (small)
  • 1 lb. cleaned shrimp
  • 1 box frozen okra, sliced or 1 1/2 c.
  • water

Method

  • Saute onion and bell pepper in oil until soft.
  • Add remaining ingredients except shrimp.
  • Add water and simmer 1 hour or until okra is soft.
  • Add shrimp and cook 3 to 5 minutes until pink. Serve hot over rice.
  • Serves 4.
