Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- 4 c. sifted flour
Method
- Combine butter and sugar; blend well, being careful not to let butter get too soft.
- (Best to mix with hands.) Gradually blend in flour; mix well.
- Pat and press in 9 x 13-inch jelly roll pan. Prick with fork.
- Put in fridge for 1/2 hour.
- Bake at 375° for 5 minutes, then at 300° for 30 minutes, or until light brown. (Watch closely; don't let it get too brown.)
- Remove from oven; cut into squares.
- Sprinkle with white sugar.
- Store in tin, not in Tupperware!
