Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. oil
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • dash of salt
  • 1 1/4 c. peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 12 oz. chocolate bar

Method

  • Mix eggs and sugar.
  • Add vanilla and oil.
  • Add flour, milk, salt and baking powder.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour into jelly roll pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • As soon as cake is removed from the oven, spread with 1 1/4 cups peanut butter.
  • Put in refrigerator to cool.
  • When firm, melt Crisco and chocolate bar.
  • Spread over peanut butter and cool again in refrigerator.
