Ingredients

  • 1 qt. ground pork
  • 3 cups shiitake mushrooms, sliced, cooked and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cups Kraft Oriental Sesame Dressing, divided
  • 90 each won ton wrappers
  • 2 each eggs, beaten

Method

  • Mix first 5 ingredients in large bowl.
  • Add 1 cup (250 mL) dressing (or 1/2 cup [125 mL] dressing for trial recipe); mix lightly.
  • Spoon 1 Tbsp.
  • (15 mL) of the meat mixture onto centre of each won ton wrapper.
  • Brush edges of wrappers with egg.
  • Gather 4 corners of each wrapper at top to enclose filling; pinch points together to secure.
  • Arrange pot stickers, in batches, in bamboo steamer over pot of boiling water; steam 9 to 10 min.
  • or until meat mixture is cooked through.
  • Serve with remaining dressing.
