Ingredients

  • 1 large can pears, drained (save juice)
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
  • 1 large lime gelatin
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Drain pears and mash; set aside.
  • Measure pear juice and add water to equal 2 cups.
  • Combine dry gelatin with cream cheese. Heat juice to boiling and pour over cream cheese stirring to dissolve gelatin and melt cheese.
  • Refrigerate until cool and thick.
  • Add mashed pears.
  • Fold in Cool Whip and nuts. Refrigerate until time to serve.
