Ingredients
- 1 large can pears, drained (save juice)
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
- 1 large lime gelatin
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Drain pears and mash; set aside.
- Measure pear juice and add water to equal 2 cups.
- Combine dry gelatin with cream cheese. Heat juice to boiling and pour over cream cheese stirring to dissolve gelatin and melt cheese.
- Refrigerate until cool and thick.
- Add mashed pears.
- Fold in Cool Whip and nuts. Refrigerate until time to serve.
