Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. butter (room temperature)
- 2 1/2 c. (approximately) twice sifted flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
Method
- Knead ingredients together, adding flour gradually until dough no longer sticks to bowl or fingers.
- Place ball of dough on ungreased cookie sheet with raised sides.
- Pat out dough evenly, fork with holes thoroughly and bake at 275° for 1 hour or until browning starts.
- Remove, cut and sugar immediately.
