Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed cream of celery or mushroom soup
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley
  • dash of pepper
  • 4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • dash of paprika

Method

  • Combine soup, milk, parsley and pepper.
  • In 1 1/2-quart casserole, arrange alternate layers of potatoes, onion and sauce. Dot top with butter; sprinkle with paprika.
  • Cover and bake at 375° for 1 hour.
  • Uncover; bake 15 minutes more or until potatoes are done.
