Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 3 2/3 c. milk
- 6 c. thinly sliced potatoes
Method
- Melt butter, add flour, salt and pepper.
- Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth and thickened.
- Add potatoes and simmer 7 minutes.
- Pour into shallow pan.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350° until tender, about 35 minutes.
- If desired, may be sprinkled with cheese before baking.
