Ingredients
- 2 (7 oz.) cans minced clams
- 2 c. milk
- 24 soda crackers, crushed
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 small green pepper, minced
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- salt
- pepper
- 4 eggs, well beaten
Method
- Pour milk over crackers; let stand until milk is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
- Cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender, but not browned.
- Add to cracker mixture.
- Add clams with liquid, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste and eggs; mix well.
- Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
- Bake at 350° for 50 minutes, or until set.
- Yields 6 servings.
