Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 potatoes
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 c. milk

Method

  • Peel potatoes and slice into thin slices.
  • In a casserole dish, put potatoes, onion, milk and butter.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Mix everything together.
  • In microwave, cook 14 to 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  • (Stir every 2 to 3 minutes while cooking.)
  • After potatoes are tender, add cheese and stir together. Cook 1 more minute in microwave (until cheese is melted).
