- 1 whole Medium Green Bell Pepper, Thinly Sliced
- 1 whole Medium Tomato, Thinly Sliced
Method
- Place both loaves of dough seam side down on a greased 14 pizza pan, forming one large ring.
- Then pinch the ends together to seal.
- With a sharp knife, make eight 1/2 deep slashes across the top of the dough.
- Set aside.
- Mix garlic into the olive oil.
- Brush the mixture on the top of the bread and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
- Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
- To assemble, cut bread in half horizontally.
- Brush the cut sides with salad dressing.
- Layer the bottom half with turkey, roast beef, ham, cheese, lettuce, onion, green pepper and tomato.
- Then replace the top half of the bread.
- Serve immediately.
- Wrap leftovers tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate.
- Yields 8-10 servings.
- Note: To kick up the sandwich, after brushing the cut sides of the bread with Italian dressing, add your favorite mustard (we LOVE jalapeno mustard!)
- to one cut side of the bread and mayonnaise and Miracle Whip on the other cut side.
