Ingredients
- 1 lb. Italian sausage or pork sausage
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Crumble sausage into large skillet.
- Add green pepper and onion.
- Cook over medium heat until sausage is browned, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and drain off fat.
- Stir in corn, tomato, garlic, basil and pepper.
- Return to heat.
- Cover and cook until heated throughout, 10 to 15 minutes.
- Yields 6 servings.
