Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Italian sausage or pork sausage
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Crumble sausage into large skillet.
  • Add green pepper and onion.
  • Cook over medium heat until sausage is browned, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and drain off fat.
  • Stir in corn, tomato, garlic, basil and pepper.
  • Return to heat.
  • Cover and cook until heated throughout, 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Yields 6 servings.
