Ingredients
- 1 lb. bulk sausage
- 6 slices white bread, crusts removed
- softened margarine
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 c. half and half
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Cook sausage; stir to crumble and drain.
- Spread bread with margarine and cut in cubes.
- Place bread in buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
- Sprinkle sausage on cubes of bread and top with cheese.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour on top.
- Chill at least eight hours before baking.
- Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
