Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 c. hominy grits
- 4 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 1/4 lb. garlic cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- paprika
Method
- Fry sausage and drain.
- Cook grits in boiling, salted water. Stir frequently for 5 minutes.
- Add oleo and cheese.
- Stir until melted.
- Remove from heat.
- Add milk, eggs and sausage.
- Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
