Ingredients
- 1 (1 lb.) can chopped sauerkraut, drained
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1 c. chopped apple
- 1/4 Tbsp. chopped pimento (for color)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar (wine vinegar is best)
Method
- Mix all together, being sure sugar is dissolved.
- Chill in refrigerator.
- Good with beans or as an accompaniment to meats.
