Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 10 slices cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Lightly grease an 8 x 8-inch pan.
  • Make 4 sandwiches using some of the mustard and 2 slices of cheese for each.
  • Place side by side in prepared pan.
  • With a fork, beat eggs, milk and salt in a bowl until well blended.
  • Pour over sandwiches.
  • Cut remaining 2 slices of cheese in half.
  • Place 1 piece of cheese on each sandwich.
  • Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or up to 24.
  • Cook at 350°, uncovered, for 40 minutes; remove and let stand 10 minutes. Cut and serve.
