Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. sifted powdered sugar
Method
- In a medium mixing bowl beat butter with mixer on medium high speed for 30 seconds.
- Add 1/2 of the flour and all the sugar, water and vanilla.
- Beat until thoroughly combined, scraping sides of bowl.
- Beat to stir in remaining flour.
- Stir in chopped pecans. Shape dough into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 325° for 20 minutes.
- Gently shake cooled cookies in a bag with powdered sugar.
