Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 3/4 c. milk
Method
- Sift flour and dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
- Add shortening and milk and work with hands on lightly floured board. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
- Cook at 400° to 425° for about 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
- Makes 20 large biscuits.
