Ingredients

  • 4 lb. ripe tomatoes
  • 1 lb. onion
  • 1 lb. green peppers
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. distilled white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. ground mustard powder
  • 2 tsp. Sweet 'N Low
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper

Method

  • Peel and chop tomatoes.
  • Drain in colander.
  • Chop onions and peppers.
  • In large pot, combine all ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook until thick, stirring often.
  • Pour into sterilized jars.
  • Pressure cook for 10 minutes.
  • If you like it hot, add some jalapeno peppers, chili hot peppers and/or habenaro peppers.
