Ingredients

  • 2 (15 oz.) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 large green pepper, sliced into thin bite-size pieces
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3/4 c. medium salsa (or hot)
  • 1/2 c. nonfat Italian salad dressing
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 large tomato, chopped

Method

  • Combine all beans, onions and pepper in large bowl.
  • Combine salsa, dressing, sugar and salt and pour over bean mixture.
  • Chill 24 hours, stirring often.
