Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef (raw)
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 2 Tbsp. Morton Tender Quick curing salt
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Method
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Roll like salami.
- (Makes 4 rolls about the size of Ritz crackers.)
- Wrap in foil and seal ends. Refrigerate 24 hours.
- Remove foil; place rolls on rack in pan. (Bake on rack so excess fat can drain off.)
- Bake in oven at 350° for 1 hour, uncovered.
- When done, roll in paper towel to absorb excess fat.
- Cool and rewrap in foil.
- Keep refrigerated.
