Ingredients
- 2 1/4 pounds potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup double cream
- 7 tablespoons butter
- 4050 saffron filaments
Method
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender then drain well.
- In a small saucepan heat the milk cream butter and saffron.
- Once the butter has melted remove from the heat cover and allow to stand for at least 20 minutes.
