Ingredients

  • 1 lb cocktail franks, some you may want to cut in half
  • 1/2 cup rye whiskey (you can use Jack Daniels but not as good for this recipe)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (Denzel, Pepri-Peri, Tabasco, mare depending on your taste)

Method

  • Mix together the ketchup, brown sugar& hot sauce, heat to simmer add rye& weiners simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Serve on toothpicks.
  • These can be frozen.
