Ingredients
- 2 c. real wine vinegar
- 1 c. cold water
- 4 cloves (whole)
- 10 peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 tsp. salt
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. oil
Method
- Bring to boil the first 7 items.
- Add mushrooms.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Cook.
- Remove garlic.
- Pour into jar (glass if possible); top with oil.
- Place plastic over lid and tighten top. Let sit 6 days before eating.
