Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage, chopped fine
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. medium/sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2/3 c. bread crumbs or crushed croutons

Method

  • Cook cabbage until tender.
  • Brown beef and drain.
  • Drain cabbage well and add ingredients, except bread crumbs.
  • (Save some cheese to mix with bread crumbs.)
  • Spray casserole dish with Pam; pour casserole in.
  • Sprinkle bread crumbs and remaining cheese over top of casserole.
  • Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
