Ingredients
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. rum
- 3 Tbsp. white corn syrup
- 2 c. crushed vanilla wafers (44 wafers)
- 1 c. ground walnuts

Method
- In saucepan, melt chocolate pieces over low heat.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in 1/2 cup sugar, rum and corn syrup.
- Fold in vanilla wafers.
- Shape mixture into 1-inch balls, using 2 teaspoons of mixture for each.
- Roll in additional sugar.
- Store in airtight container for several days.
- Makes 4 dozen.
