Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken (3-4 Pounds)
- 1 Tablespoon Coarse Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Herb Seasoning (Tone's)
- 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Weber Zesty Lemon Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Celery Seed
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 2 Tablespoons Kosher Salt
Method
- I use a chicken that has not been injected with a solution, or a brine.
- If that is all you can find, then you will need to adjust the amount of salt used in the recipe or the chicken might turn out too salty.
- If I had to guess at how much to reduce the salt I would say at least 25%.
- Mix all of the seasonings together in a small bowl.
- Wash and pat dry the chicken.
- Lightly spray the chicken with Pam.
- Liberally apply the seasonings to the inside and outside of the chicken.
- I use a vertical chicken roaster and cook this on the grill at 350 degrees for 75-90 minutes.
