Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts or 1 whole chicken, cut up
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can sauerkraut
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 1 large tart apple, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- In baking dish, place chicken in single layer.
- Drain and rinse sauerkraut; add to chicken with apple and onion.
- Add wine, salt and pepper.
- Bake at 350° for one hour.
- Add small amount of water if dry after 1/2 hour.
- Cover for last half of baking.
