Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil
- Sifted powdered sugar
Method
- Beat eggs in a mixing bowl at medium speed of an electric mixer. Gradually add next 3 ingredients; mix well. Add flour; beat until smooth.
- Place rosette iron in deep hot oil (375°) about 1 minute. Dip into rosette batter, covering two-thirds of iron. Place in hot oil, and cook 1 minute or until golden brown. Gently shake rosette from iron. Turn and cook 1 minute. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain well. Cool. Repeat procedure with remaining batter. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
