Ingredients

  • 1 cube Butter
  • 1 whole Onion, Diced
  • 1 bunch Celery, Chopped
  • 5 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 whole Apple, Chopped
  • 3 whole Linguica Links, Chopped
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • Sage To Taste
  • Optional-cooked And Chopped Giblets From Turkey
  • 12 ounces, weight (2 6-ounce Packages) Dried Breadcrumbs For Stuffing
  • 2 cans (14 Oz. Size) Chicken Broth (Use Only 1 Can If You Are Cooking The Stuffing Inside The Bird)

Method

  • Melt butter in a large skillet. Then add the onion, celery, garlic, apple, and sausage. Fry until soft meat is browned.
  • Add giblets and salt, pepper and sage.
  • Put breadcrumbs in a large mixing bowl and add the hot ingredients. Stir together. Add the chicken stock.
  • Place into a baking dish and cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or according to your turkey cooking time if you are using it to stuff your bird. If you like crunchy parts, you can remove the foil halfway through.
