Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. water
- 1 stick margarine
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. cold water
- 7 c. self-rising flour
Method
- Dissolve the yeast in the 1/2 cup warm water. Bring to a boil the 1 cup water.
- Add the margarine and shortening.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- In a large bowl, mix the eggs and sugar.
- Add 1 cup cold water. Combine all 3 mixtures.
- To this, add the flour. Mix, cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
