Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • dash of salt
  • 2 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. miniature marshmallows

Method

  • Butter a 9-inch square pan.
  • Cover with chopped nuts.
  • Butter the sides of a 2-quart saucepan.
  • Add sugar, milk and salt.
  • Stir and bring to boiling about 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Spread the chocolate mixture over the nuts.
  • Add marshmallows.
  • Press into the chocolate.
  • Add remaining chocolate mixture.
  • Cool and cut into pieces.
