Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can pizza sauce
- 1 can Durkee French fried onions
- 1 c. elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- assorted toppings (chopped green peppers, sliced mushrooms, diced pepperoni, etc.)
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- In medium skillet, brown beef; drain off excess fat.
- Stir in pizza sauce; reduce heat and simmer.
- Cook pasta; drain pasta and put in bowl.
- Combine egg, 1/2 can onions and Parmesan cheese.
- Spread pasta mixture in lasagne pan.
- Top with beef mixture and desired toppings.
- Bake, uncovered, 25 to 30 minutes to heat through.
- Top with remaining onions and bake until cheese is hot and bubbly.
