Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can pizza sauce
  • 1 can Durkee French fried onions
  • 1 c. elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • assorted toppings (chopped green peppers, sliced mushrooms, diced pepperoni, etc.)

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • In medium skillet, brown beef; drain off excess fat.
  • Stir in pizza sauce; reduce heat and simmer.
  • Cook pasta; drain pasta and put in bowl.
  • Combine egg, 1/2 can onions and Parmesan cheese.
  • Spread pasta mixture in lasagne pan.
  • Top with beef mixture and desired toppings.
  • Bake, uncovered, 25 to 30 minutes to heat through.
  • Top with remaining onions and bake until cheese is hot and bubbly.
