Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) bag broccoli florets
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 8 fresh sage leaves
- 2 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (or garlic powder, but use less)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Spread broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle onion and sage leaves over broccoli. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, garlic and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Roast in the oven until broccoli is browned and crisp. 20 to 30 minutes
