Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 sq. chocolate, melted
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Mix shortening, salt and vanilla.
- Add sugar and cream mixture.
- Add eggs and mix well.
- Add melted chocolate and flour. Mix in pecans.
- Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
- Let stand a few minutes.
- Press with a fork dipped in cold water. Bake at 325° for 12 to 15 minutes.
